What we do

Legislation

We monitor and testify on legislation related to antisemitism in the Howard County Council, the Maryland General Assembly, and Congress. Members get bill details, testimony opportunities, and alerts when their voice is needed.

What we track →

Elections

We ask candidates to take public positions against antisemitism in all its forms, share those positions with voters, and endorse and support candidates who stand with our community.

Endorsements and voter guides →

Schools and Community

We advocate with the Howard County Public School System for safe, inclusive schools, and we work alongside synagogues and community organizations that stand against bigotry and hatred.

Why HoCoJAG is different

HoCoJAG was formed in response to the rise in antisemitism in our community after October 7, 2023.

Most Jewish advocacy organizations are 501(c)(3) charities, which cannot endorse or oppose candidates. As a 501(c)(4), HoCoJAG can take direct political action, so we complement the work those organizations do.
